Pat the Cat
I love attention, so don’t think that all cats are cold. Ok, I need to behave more dignified, but hey, I love it when my human pet pats and strokes me. Purrrrrrrr.
I’ll lift my chin and let her pat under it. I also like it when she strokes the side of my handsome face, and scratch at the base of my tail. Do you know I’m actually glad that she is helping me spread my power? Well, whenever people scratch me in that area, they are letting me mark them with my scent.
In addition, there are some other areas that are very sensitive to touch, so I get a lot of pleasure when I’m stroked in those areas. My skin is sensitive, and also my hairless pads. I need these to investigate things, especially when I go and catch my cockroaches for fun time. That allows me to know what is happening around in the wild.
I don’t like my paws to be touched, but a light massage between the paws is fine. I enjoy that. I want to have more massages. Ever heard of cat spa? Bring me there!
Now, my human pet is sometimes a little dumb. She doesn’t know that when my tail starts to flicker, I’m actually getting a little agitated. That’s when I scratch. Especially when I’m lying on my back and she is patting my underside, it sometimes can get irritating. But I’m just playing with her. I don’t care that I may hurt her. She should be more careful and watch my moods. I’ll walk out if she dares to reprimand me.
And as the saying goes, when we cats show our affection, sometimes we show it through nips and bites. It’s ok. Live with it! Ok, time for my cat massage.
